These terms are an agreement between you and Naughty Curator (“the site”, “we”). By using the site you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use it.
You must be an adult
The site hosts sexually explicit fiction. You must be at least 18, and old enough to view adult material where you live. If you’re not, leave now.
Your account
- Keep your password to yourself. You’re responsible for what happens under your account.
- Your pen name is public. Your email address never is.
- You need a confirmed email address to post stories or comments.
- One person, one account. Don’t use extra accounts to get around a ban or to rate your own work.
Your writing stays yours
You keep the copyright in everything you post. By posting, you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, format and distribute it on the site and in its feeds, only so we can run the site. The licence ends when you delete the work, apart from copies kept briefly in backups.
You confirm that you wrote what you post, or have the right to post it, and that it follows the Content policy.
Review and moderation
New authors’ chapters are read by an editor before they go live. Trusted authors publish directly. Editors may decline, hide or remove any story, chapter, comment or account that breaks these terms or the content policy, and may revoke trust or ban accounts. We’ll usually tell you why, but we don’t have to.
Anyone can report content with the Report button on every story, chapter and comment.
Things you must not do
- Post anything the Content policy forbids. Sexual content involving minors is reported to the authorities; see Child safety below.
- Harass, threaten or reveal private information about anyone.
- Scrape the site in bulk, overload it, or try to get around rate limits, bans or access controls.
- Use the site for advertising or spam.
Child safety
If we find, or have reason to suspect, child sexual abuse material on the site, we report it to the US authorities on discovery (the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children’s CyberTipline and law enforcement), preserve the material and the account’s records as the law requires, and cooperate fully and vigorously with any investigation. The account is closed at once. The Content policy has the details.
Copyright complaints
If someone posted your work without permission, see Takedown requests.
No guarantees
The site is provided as is. We try to keep it running and your work safe, but we don’t promise it will always be available, error-free, or that nothing will ever be lost. Keep your own copies of your writing.
Stories are the opinions and fantasies of their authors, not of the site.
Limits on liability
As far as the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for anything other users post.
Ending your use
You can delete your account at any time in account settings. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we’ll put a notice on the site before it takes effect. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the new terms.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nebraska, USA.
